Fin alignment tool
Details
If you have ever wondered why you have kept up with another boat on one tack, but it climbed away from you on the other, then you need to check the fore and aft alignment of your fin. Even professionally built boats can have minor mis-alignment that is well worth rectifying (assuming the fin is removable from the hull).
Kit of parts requiring assembly and addition of two x 400-500 mm lengths of 11 mm Ø mast tube plus light line and miniature plumb bobs. 15 or 25 kgs Dyneema, bowsies and some 1.5 mm Ø wires are quite suitable for the plumb lines.
