Leading edge fillet for 360 & 370

Leading edge fillet, for use with 370-IOM, 370-M-2019 and rudder 360-BLADE, to fit to leading edge of fin or rudder to produce a leading edge root extension (LERX).

The LERX has the effect of reducing the interference drag which is created when the flow of fluid past one body (the foil) interferes with the flow of fluid past another body (the hull). Bond the LERX to the foil using epoxy resin. Do this with the foil in place in the hull after thoroughly waxing all nearby surfaces. Allow to cure, remove the foil and abrade the excess material until the shape is fair.
