Mounting plate - for RMG 380. Carbon/ply sandwich plate ready to take an RMG 380 winch. The extra thickness of the sandwich construction makes the plate stiff enough to take the sheet loads generated by a large and powerful winch.

The winch is mounted to the underside of the plate using two M3 x 5 or 6 mm pan head screws. Once this has been done the installation and replacement of the winch into a boat prepared to suit is a very quick and simple process.

The hull should be prepared with a sturdy mounting shelf with a 70 mm diameter hole and symmetrically placed 4 mm diameter steel attachment bolts 83 mm apart. The slot in the plate is to allow the cables to lead from the winch upwards to be routed to the receiver and battery without being damaged.
