Welcome to the SAILSetc website. SAILSetc is one of the largest suppliers of equipment for radio control sailing. Our range of goods is focussed on the four international classes (One Metre, Marblehead, Ten Rater, A Class) which are administered by the International One Metre International Class Association (IOMICA) and the International Radio Sailing Association (IRSA). We also have a growing range of equipment suitable for the RG65 class. However the equipment we supply is suitable for, or adaptable to, many of the other classes of radio yachts used throughout the world.

Unlike other suppliers in the rc sailing sector, SAILSetc is the primary source (innovation, design, specification and manufacture) of almost all the boats, spars, fittings and sails that we supply. Our specialist knowledge of the sport helps us to design, develop, make and supply goods which are ideally suited to their purpose.

Apart from equipment intended for the major international rc yachting classes we also make model sails for wind tunnel testing and for use on sailing models of full size design projects. This includes work carried out under confidentiality agreements, for example for America’s Cup Class teams.

Although we no longer make or supply boats ourselves, our designs remain available through BOATSetc and we are always interested to hear from other boat manufacturers with a professional approach who are interested in joint projects. We are happy to act as consultants on the design of rc yachts and their equipment for special applications. We also work on a consultancy basis for other manufacturers who need assistance in the field of rc sailing.
