SAILSetc

Trading since 1978 SAILSetc is one of the largest suppliers of equipment for radio control (rc) sailing. Our range of goods is focussed on the four international classes (One Metre, Marblehead, Ten Rater, A Class) as well as the growing number of smaller classes and especially the 65 Class (RG65). The equipment we supply is also suitable for, or adaptable to, many of the other classes of radio yachts used throughout the world. Our specialist knowledge of the sport helps us to design, develop, make and supply goods which are ideally suited to their purpose. 2014 marked the opening of the SAILSetc on-line chandlery for rc sailing.

We undertake design and development work on a consultancy basis for other manufacturers who need assistance in the field of rc yachting. This includes the provision of designs so that they may be built and supplied elsewhere and the provision of component parts.

Apart from equipment intended for the major international rc yachting classes we also make:

- model sails for wind tunnel testing

- model sails for use on sailing models of full size design projects

- rigs for autonomous yachts

This has included work carried out under confidentiality agreements and for America’s Cup teams. We are also happy to act as consultants on the design of rc yachts and their equipment for special applications.

SAILSetc is the primary source for the majority of the products offered on this website which are designed and made by, or exclusively for, SAILSetc. However, although we keep large stocks of our products, from time to time we may be temporarily out of stock and unable to supply what you need. Many other suppliers of rc yachting equipment stock and sell genuine SAILSetc products. Be aware that there are also sources of un-official copies of our products. Please make sure you know you are buying genuine SAILSetc parts.
