Punch - for medium eyelets

Punch - for medium eyelets, ref 080.

Use this punch with eyelet, ref. 080, with two washers, ref. 081, to form strong attachments in the head, tack and clew of sails for IOM and larger boats.

Form a hole in the sail using a soldering iron with a fine point, or a wire heated in a gas flame, before adding the eyelet and washers to form an attachment.

Use eyelets ref. 078, washers ref. 079, and punch, ref. 090, to form less heavily loaded attachments in the tack and at the luff. Items 078, 079 and 090 are suitable for making attachments in heavily loaded areas of sails for 65 Class and smaller boats.
