Hook - wire - 10/pack

Hook - wire. Formed from 1.2 mm Ø stainless steel wire, 15 mm x 6 mm, 10/pack.

Particularly useful for the forestay attachment where the forestay/halyard attachment should be in the same plane as the leech line/topping lift attachment.

NB The hole is in the same plane as the hook.

1.0 to 2.0 mm Ø drills are available in packs of 10 - ref. DRILLS.

A simple and secure way to add a hook to a line is to pass the end of the line through the eye and make an overhand knot. Reduce the size of the loop formed before tightening and locking with a spot of cyanocrylate glue. Alternatively use a bowline.
