The lightweight boom spar* only - no fittings. 400 mm long, 10.0 mm diameter, 0.4 mm wall thickness, a hard alloy tube made by Easton the world's best makers of arrow shafts, natural or black anodised, 11.5 grams.
Please refer to the headsail boom drawing for guidance concerning the use of this material.
We use this tube to make the metal trunking for our mainsheet post, ref 52-MT. However, we recommend use of glass or carbon trunking, as appropriate, to avoid long term corrosion problems.
Easton arrow shaft - 2514. 25/64ths inch diameter, 14 thousandths of an inch wall thickness.
