65 rig kit - conventional rig

Rig Pack contains all spars (unless the no mast option is chosen for the No 1 rig), rigging and fittings sufficient to make one conventional rig, without shrouds, with the following features:

General features:

• No 1 conventional rig - with or without Skyshark mast tube depending on your choice
• No 1 rig mast is a Sky Shark II 7pt tapered carbon tube - 8 mm diameter at base - plus lower extension of 8 mm diameter and joiner
• No 2 and No 3 masts are of 8 mm (lower section) and 6 mm (upper section) diameter carbon tube
• Ball raced mast head fitting
• Standard gooseneck (with kicking strap or compression strut) or ball raced gooseneck
• Main boom spars are 6 mm diameter carbon - 235, 250 & 250 mm long
• Headsail boom spars are 5 mm diameter carbon tube - 210, 240 & 220 mm long
• Alternative headsail boom end incorporating swivel to speed up rig construction (101RG)
• Headsail boom swivel & counterbalance weight option (120-050, 102-003, 102-004 or 102-005)

A rig made from this kit is a 'shroudless rig'. The mast tubes are stiff enough to work well without any shrouds. No standing rigging is required apart from a forestay and backstay.

SAILSetc makes sails to go with kits or finished rigs for the ARGON when supplied in kit or finished format. Except in these cases we do not make RG65 sails.
