Rip stop polyester sail cloth. White, 85 or 150 grams per square metre. Suitable for sails of non-racing model yachts.

Suitable for model up to 1.3 metres long and for light wind sails for larger craft.

Suitable for larger models.

Joining this material - adding tabling

Use 10 mm wide double sided tape, ref TS-10, to make seams to join the panels of sails. Use 12 mm wide Mylar tape, ref TM-12 or TTM-12, for the luff reinforcement of mainsails and headsails. Use 18 mm Icarex tape to form a pocket on a headsail luff, ref TP-01, TP-20 & TP-WHITE. And use 4 mm wide Mylar tape, ref TM-04, for leech tapes.

Making battens

Cut battens from the 100 mm x 200 mm SAILSetc medium batten material, ref. BM-M.
