Headsail boom kit - carbon tube

Headsail boom kit, carbon fibre round tube.

Choose a kit of parts of a diameter that suits the class and application.

Generally - 8 mm for M and 10R No 1 rigs - 10 mm for M, 10R and 6M rigs - 12 mm for A Class No 1 rig - 14 mm for A Class lower rigs.

The kits are comprehensive containing the spar material, drawing and all the fittings required to make a boom. Longer spar material can be supplied by arrangement.

If required the boom may be 'bent' using the special joiners ref 019-080, 019-100, 019-120 and 019-140. A headsail boom swivel may be ordered as an option. The swivel for 10 mm diameter will fit both the 8 and 10 mm diameter boom kits. No counterbalance weight is provided with these kits. Choose counterbalance weight ref 102-15, 102-20, 102-25 or 102-35 depending on the length of boom and weight of the sail.
