Hooks - wire - 10/pack

Hooks - wire. Formed from 1.2 mm Ø stainless steel wire, 15 mm x 6 mm, 10/pack.

Use for connections and terminations on all classes up to Ten Rater or 6 Metre size.

NB The hole is aligned 90 degrees to the hook - do not attempt to align the hole with the hook as it will weaken the hook and may snap it. If you need hook aligned with the hole use SAILSetc product ref. 87C.

1.0 to 2.0 mm Ø drills are available in packs of 10 - ref. DRILLS.

A simple and secure way to add a hook to a line is to pass the end of the line through the eye and make an overhand knot. Reduce the size of the loop formed before tightening and locking with a spot of cyanocrylate glue. Alternatively use a bowline.
