Turning block, ball raced, medium - 10 mm sheave. SAILSetc design and manufacture. A beautifully simple design of block for lines of 0.7-0.8 mm Ø (SAILSetc D75 or D100). Designed to avoid snagging the sheets.

Suitable for use as a deck mounted turning block in the main winch loop system on IOM, M and 10R class. It is important for the ingoing and outgoing lines to be in the plane of the surface to which the block is mounted.

Mount by bolting through the deck with the M3 screw supplied. 20 mm Ø x 4.5 mm high.

The wedge will not cause any snags and allows the block to be tilted at up to 11 degrees from the horizontal. Use the wedge to tilt the block as required so that the plane of the block aligns with the incoming and outgoing sheet lines.

SAILSetc blocks have black plastic bodies, which may be injection moulded, turned, or printed. The sheaves are stainless steel, but not marine grade stainless steel, and have hardened rust-resistant balls. Fasteners provided are marine grade stainless steel. Other metal parts, if any, are marine grade stainless steel.

The correct replacement bearing is item BF-025-100.
