Eyebolt - 20 mm x M3 - flat. With a flat attachment point 2.2 mm thick with a 2 mm dia hole. 20 mm x M3. Nickel plated brass eyebolt.

Not suitable for use as a fairlead as the inside of the hole has square edges.

From March 2021 the design of this part has changed - thickness is now 2.2 mm (versus 1.7 mm). This means the eyebolt is no longer compatible with the SAILSetc compression struts. To attach a compression strut to a boom or deck use the purpose designed products 27-120, 27-140, 27D and V555.

Currently out of stock - we are not planning to replace this part as our item 35-008 works as a fairlead that will not snag lines. However, our 35-008 will not take some designs of block that fitted to the 35-FLAT design.

Eyebolt - 20 mm x M3 - flat. With a flat attachment point 2.2 mm thick with a 2.0 mm dia hole. 20 mm x M3. Nickel plated brass eyebolt.

This eyebolt is not designed to have sheet lines passing through it as the friction load will be too great and the line will become abraded. Sheet lines should run through fittings designed specifically for that purpose e.g. blocks (61-013, 61-010, 61-008, 62-010) and fairleads (52C, 52-006, 52-003, 53).

Use any of our other eyebolts (35-008, 35-020, 35-025) where a line, whether fixed or moving, is required to pass through the hole.
