Details
A coordinated range of swing rig kits, including sails if required, designed to cover the range of wind speeds from B rig conditions to the maximum wind speed in which racing is likely to take place.
General features
• panelled sails
• comprehensive plan and step by step instructions
• high modulus round carbon tube for mast & boom spars
• masts are 14, 12 and 10 mm diameter
• stainless steel, plastic, anodised and/or nickel plated fittings as appropriate
• flexible 7 strand rigging wire for standing rigging or flat wire if preferred
• Dyneema rigging cord for running rigging
• fastenings and terminations
You will need the following materials to supplement the pack - epoxy resin, cyanoacrylate glue, tape for limit marks (measurement bands).
Choose from the SAILSetc 92 series swing rig sail sizes for B, C1, C2 and C3 suits of rigs.
Sail sizes:
B rig sails: 1885 x 380 mainsail; 1070 x 265 headsail.
C1 rig sails: 1660 x 446 mainsail; 985 x 278 headsail.
C2 rig sails: 1410 x 444 mainsail; 817 x 275 headsail.
C3 rig sails: 1195 x 445 mainsail; 641 x 249 headsail.
