The boats previously supplied by SAILSetc are available from BOATSetc located in Germany. The moulding quality is superb leaving the builder with only the task of adding the foils, structural component parts and fittings before going on to add rc and rigs.

BOATSetc can supply carbon pre-preg hulls for the Ten Rater DIAMOND and the component parts and general arrangement plans required to complete them.

SAILSetc will continue to offer rc installation, rigging, optimisation and measurement for DIAMOND.

DIAMOND follows on from the 1999 world champion design PRIZM. DIAMOND, has the fin box and mast tube incorporated into the primary hull moulding. This ensures consistency in geometry and saves weight. The high hull stiffness and low centre of gravity help give the boat excellent performance across the wind speed range. Like its predecessor, DIAMOND has a raised foredeck carried back to the mast position and a lowered centre deck to house the gooseneck and main boom lower down. The prototype first sailed in 2007 and production since then has used pre-preg carbon.

The boat has provided excellent results since 2007 with numerous wins in the AUS, FRA, ITA, SUI, GBR and GER national championships as well as the Brittany Cup, Martinicup and Swiss Cup. The design placed 2nd and 3rd at the 2016 10 Rater world championship and 4th at the 2018 world championship.
